The Eritrean-Swede international forward has moved to Spain's top league after a great spring season in the Dutch league also known as Eredivisie during a loan spell with Willem II in 2018-19. Alexander's deal was completed in a €10 million transaction from Borussia Dortmund where he was not being used despite his ability to perform at a high level to 9th place Real Sociedad of La Liga following a great season with Willem II.
Alexander was unveiled by the Spanish club on Wednesday as he signed a five-year deal that will keep him with the club through June 2024. At 19 years of age The Eritrean-Swede international departs Dortmund after three seasons of a learning curve. His style of play will be more in line with the finesse driven Spanish La Liga.
